My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KIKO is a four-year, nine-month old seal point Siamese female cat. Kiko was acquired for breeding purposes, but the breeder is experiencing health issues, and Kiko came to us. She had just finished nursing a litter, and she’s had quite a few in her lifetime. Kiko does lack some social skills with humans, but she gets along well with other cats. Our staff and volunteers are industriously convincing her that humans make good companions too! Kiko is starting to like being petted and fondled, and she peeks out from her bed when you stop to visit her. Kiko loves to listen to your voice, and she nods off as you talk to her, the soothing sound of your voice letting her know everything is ok, and more importantly, she’s going to be ok. Kiko is a petite girl, with delicate features and stunning markings. If you have some time and patience, we’re betting Kiko is going to discover that laps are good things too!

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and a fecal test.
