My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a fluff ball to adopt? Snickers is absolutely the cutest thing...a round ball of hair with adorable, soft eyes peering through! She is 12 pounds and 11 weeks old. She is crate trained and used to doing her business in a potty box. She goes out in a safe fenced area for play time and enjoys toys, playing and running with her doggy friends. She loves people and attention! Snickers has a lot of puppy playfulness and attitude so she will need a family willing to devote time, money and energy into training her to be a great doggy. This adorable girl will be finishing up her vetting very soon but we are taking applications NOW. If you can give Snickers the perfect forever home she deserves, email us at info.caresga@gmail.com. You can also download an application at http://www.caresga.org/adoption-application. A vet reference is required to ensure a great home. We DO adopt north and all over so just ask us for details! Please make sure you know the commitment a puppy takes before contacting us.
Adoption fees for puppies are $350, adults dogs are $250 and senior dogs are $150. This includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella and rabies, de-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms), tested heart-worm negative (if positive, they are treated), tested negative for tick borne diseases, spayed/neutered, implanted with a mini micro-chip and have been examined by a veterinarian to certify that they are healthy. All animals are also on a monthly regime of flea and heartworm medication. Lifetime registration for the micro-chip is included in each adoption fee. In addition, each adopter will go home with a fitted collar, tags, a bag of dog food the pet has been on, Forti-Flora, and an adoption kit filled with valuable information and coupons as well as other various treats or toys as promotions become available. All puppy adoptions include a puppy training book, the Puppy Primer by Patricia McConnell, to help ensure a smooth transition for your new family member.
We ask that you consider an additional donation on top of this pet's adoption fee. This money will go directly into our Adoption Fund to be used exclusively for rescuing and caring for other pets in need. Many pets we take in have very high vet bills to get them healthy and adoptable for the public - much higher than their adoption fees. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from our community and caring adopters to continue our rescue efforts!
