CALLIE is such a sweet and special beauty! Good with dogs doesn't even begin to describe her. She absolutely ADORES other dogs! She thrives on being near them whether its time to sleep, play, or chew on a toy. She sleeps with at least one part of her body touching the mastiff in her foster home every single night.
CALLIE is also possibly the most perfectly gorgeous staffie I have ever seen. Her cuteness is truly overwhelming. CALLIE loves to go on play dates and car rides. She is also terrific in her crate. She happily trots in at mealtime and when her foster mom leaves the house. CALLIE loves all sorts of toys, especially squeaky ones and water buffalo horns. She is about 14 months old, potties outside, and has never chewed on a single piece of furniture. She doesn't live with any kitty cats but has met them at our vet's office and (of course) she was kind to them.
CALLIE must got to a home with at least one other friendly, confidant pup. She is instantly comfortable with dogs. She follows their lead and other dogs help her trust humans. She is timid around new people , but will approach them and give them a lick once another dog walks up to get lovin. Once she loves you, her adoration is for eternity. She follows her foster mom everywhere she goes. Let me tell you, CALLIE is more than worth a little patience. She is the sweetest soul on the planet. She has kisses for days and her entire body wags with joy most of the day. CALLIE's lucky forever family will have their hearts stolen by this once in a lifetime girl!
CALLIE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and cost of her transport after she is adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
