Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi I'm Daphne, I was born around March 31, 2017 and I'm told adorable. I'm very playful and lot other kitties and dogs. I'll be ready to go to my home when I'm 8 weeks on May 26th. I can be a little shy, but if you sit on the floor I will come up to you for attention. Fast movements scare me a little bit so I would really like a home without small children. I'm being fostered in a home in North Naperville which is where you would go and meet me.
I don't know why I climbed into the dashboard of a car in Kentucky, but that's where my rescuer found me and brought me to a Kentucky Animal Control. Angels on Wheels heard the story and said they would save me. I'm happy in my foster home and am learning about different noises. I'm so much more socialized and comfortable since I arrived. I'm been told I'm an adorable, loving baby...and I LOVE playing in boxes!
The tuxedo kitten in the photo is Luna. She is not Daphne's littermate but they came in together so they wouldn't be alone. It's important that young kittens be around other kittens to learn. Luna is about 2 weeks younger then Daphne, and is also available for adoption when she is 8 weeks. We are sharing the information in the event your looking to adopt two kittens.
To meet this sweet girl, an approved adoption application needs to be submitted and approved. You can find find the adoption application by going to our website at angelsonwheels.org, and clicking on the applications tab. We do not have a physical building so there are no viewing hours, thus the reason for the application needs to be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet with this adorable kitten. If you see this this post, she is available for adoption so there is no need to email us asking about availability. We update regularly
Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
