Denver's Story...

If you would like more information about Denver or are interested in adopting him, please send an email to Atkiss@yahoo.com

Denver is looking for a loving home! A handsome American Staffordshire Terrier mix, Denver was rescued from the street in January and now lives with a foster. He's 58 pounds of intelligence and love. Calm in demeanor, he's always up for a snuggle. Denver also loves daily walks or a run. He walks well on leash and we're working with a trainer to get used to cats, squirrels, and other distractions. Denver is house trained, up to date on shots, neutered and chipped.

Denver is sweet and gentle with kids and almost all people -- he doesn't like the mailman. He's happy with consistent leadership he can relax into. He plays well with submissive dogs but isn't a good match for dogs who like to be in charge. Unfortunately he and his foster dog-brother aren't in love. A six-ish foot fence will keep him home, though he's not one to bolt. Denver will start heart worm treatment in May and be healthy mid-June. Come meet this sweet boy anytime, or reach out to learn more!
