Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lexi came to us all the way from Montgomery, AL where she was found as a stray by the local shelter. The rescue coordinator contacted us directly as they do not get many bull terriers and they wanted her to go to a breed specific rescue group. We were thrilled to be able to help out; this marks a first for us in pulling a dog from out of state!
Lexi is a young girl, approximately 2-3 years old and is a mini, weighing only 29 lbs. She is very calm, enjoys car rides, short walks and napping! Lexi was heartworm positive when she was found, but has undergone and completed the heartworm treatment, and should be HW negative at this time.
Lexi does not get along with other furries and must be an only pet! She also needs to go to an adult only, bullie savvy household - like with the saying "Let sleeping dogs lie," Lexi exhibits wakeful aggression. She can become ornery when woken, but she is completely fine if she wakes up on her own. She has food aggression towards other animals, but not with people.
