Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sunny is just about perfect, he captures everyone's heart! Meet Sunny!! An awesome purebred Border Collie. Sunny is a retired show dog and was a therapy dog as well. He put on a few extra pounds, but is now on a healthy diet and walking program. Sunny grew up with a trainer so he knows all his commands, is house trained and walks very well on a leash. He is very young at heart, he loves to go for walks and play ball. With him coming from a quieter home, we are looking for an adult household with older or no children for him.
He is an excellent house dog and even knows some tricks, He also has great recall. Sunny gets along with his foster brother & sister (2 other Border Collies!) He is not really a fan of cats, so a cat-less home is best. Sunny will need a home that will stick to his diet, no people food or high calorie treats and give him some exercise so he can shed those unwanted pounds ;-)He has been a very good house guest with his foster family and will make someone a wonderful family member! He is very healthy and has many more years of chasing tennis balls ahead of him. If you are interested in adopting Sunny, please contact his adoption coordinator Renee at info@loveastraydog.com Due to our adoption process, we are looking for a home within a 45 mile radius of Avon Lake, OH.
