My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From tethered and pregnant in a backyard breeder/hoarding situation, to 14 months in a shelter on a "court hold", to learning freedom in a foster home....5 year old Brenda has come a long way. Although she's shy and weary of strangers, Brenda is a playful, fun, friendly girl who is ready to bond with her new family!
We believe Brenda will do great in a home where she can spend time outside with canine companions, while learning to trust her new human family. She loves treat time and rolls over for belly rubs!
A secure fenced yard with some shelter for Brenda is a must. A patient family with plenty of canine experience is ideal. Brenda is a true rescue.
This healthy, happy girl deserves a family that spends a lot of time at home, without expectations that Brenda will be a hiking and/or travel companion. Despite years of cruelty and neglect, Brenda is crate trained and housebroken
Brenda has been in foster now for 12 months, and she is thriving!

Her adoption fee of $200 helps cover her vet costs and fund our mission to rescue, foster, and locate loving homes for homeless and abandoned pets.
