Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We were happy to take this beautiful 21lbs and 4 years girl and promised to find her a loving forever home. Scarlett is adjusting well in a foster home. Her foster mom reports that she has very good house manners and is, for the most part, a quiet but happy girl. Scarlett is a playful dog and loves her plush toys.
Scarlett remains fearful of men and will adjust more easily to a home with adult women only. Scarlett is a very loving dog; however, due to circumstances in her past, Scarlett has learned to try to control her environment inappropriately. For this reason, Scarlett will only be placed in an adult women home with experienced handlers willing to work through these behaviors to help Scarlett learn more appropriate behaviors. We will provide help and guidance long term to anyone interested in adopting her. If you have the experience and commitment to help Scarlett through her training, you will be rewarded with her endless respect, love and devotion. We wishing to Aaron will do best with a yard that has 6 ft. privacy fencing.
Scarlett is currently at a foster home in Tampa Area, FL.
If you would like to adopt her, please email donghaepaws@gmail.com with a bit of information about yourself (e.g. your experience as a dog owner, your family and/or other pets, etc.) and your phone number. A HDP volunteer will promptly respond to your email. Thank you!
Prior to rescue, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization and it takes time for them to learn about life as a family pet. Common skills such as house training and leash walking may often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old.
A home check is mandatory before adoption.
Adoption fee: $300
*** About us ***
Hope For Donghae Paws(HDP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to bringing rescue dogs from Korea to the US and finding permanent homes for them. It is true there are many animal lovers in Korea, but still many dogs suffer and are killed for food.
Our mission is to find US homes for mixed-breed dogs whose chances of being adopted in their native Korea are very low.
