Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buttercup is fostered in Indy through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org
Buttercup is a 6 year old 11 lb. Yorkie-mix girl who came to United Yorkie Rescue in March 2017 with her fur sibling Yorkie-mix boy Ponchy, when the family moved and they were unable to go with. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Buttercup can be a bit timid, but loves attention! She has the most expressive eyes, is house trained about 80% of the time, partly because she has had 3 transitions in the past 3 weeks and things are still a bit scary. Buttercup tips the scales at about 11 pounds, a wee bit over a healthier weight of 9 lbs, so she'll be on watch so we can lose the extra. She loves to be outside and investigate her foster home's fenced yard. Her previous owners believed dogs only need to go outside for short visits once a day, so Buttercup is finding her new world full of wonderful smells and exciting things all around her! She never walked on a leash; her foster mamma will be working with her to master this, which should come quickly since she loves exploring.
Buttercup is up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and spayed. Buttercup and Ponchy will need a fenced yard in their forever home, to provide the security and good life these two precious souls deserve.
