My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carly came into Scottish Terrier Rescue of Florida (STROF) on April 15 after she was left at a Florida shelter by her owner, who was “moving, can’t take dog.” Twelve year old Carly was severely underweight, dirty, loaded with tapeworms, ears plugged full of sand and dirt, an infected eye, cataracts, and deaf. Fortunately the shelter contacted STROF and we were able to pull her that same day.
Carly has improved tremendously during her time in foster care. STROF has attended to all of her physical issues and has been providing lots of TLC in her foster home. Her blood panel revealed that she is surprisingly healthy with no major health problems.
Carly gets along great with other dogs and really thrives on canine companionship, so we are looking for a home with at least one other dog. Carly also loves people and follows her foster mom all around the house!
This sweet little deaf girl is looking for a furever home where she can receive all the good things in life that she did not get in her previous home. Could you be the one to provide that special home for Carly?
