Here's what the humans have to say about me:
She is a blissfully happy girl! She loves running with big dogs, playing, and chasing the ATV is her most favourite thing on earth! She would love a country home – is this weird to say for a small dog? She LOVES large dogs, or dogs her size, and ADORES playing and running outside. She has great off-leash recall! Angie loves to spend time with her people, so although not a cuddler or one for affection, she adores companionship and is looking for a family who understands what she is and isn’t comfortable with.
Her foster says, “There are nights that she is allowed to sleep on my bed — she comes up and cleans my ears out, and then goes and lies down at the end of the bed. She knows “off” and “no” and “leave it.”
This little cutie is playful, curious, and not destructive. She’s cautious around new people, but that changes as she bonds with her new family. She would prefer no kids, and a calm home with dog experience. Her people need to be her “paw-rents” who can give her guidance and support to build her confidence and trust.
Angie is insecure and has, in the past, nipped at her previous home, which is why she is in our care. It is important to note, that since coming into our care, and moving into a dog experienced foster home, Angie has NOT nipped in our care! We’ve worked a great deal on building her confidence, but she will still need a family who will provide leadership and continue working with her. She needs a place to settle in and be confident, comfortable, and happy!
