If you are interested in TACO, or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application.

TACO and siblings were born in an animal shelter the evening of 2/12/17. At just a 2 days of age, these babies and their mommy traveled to the most amazing foster home you can possibly imagine! Every human in the foster home showered the whole doggy family with endless care and affection. Most importantly, they received the immeasurable physical and mental benefits that only come from being raised by their mom.
At 7 weeks of age they left mommy and traveled to individual foster homes for more one-on-one attention. All the foster parents say these babies are well adjusted, loving, fun, and way ahead of the potty training curve for pups their age (thanks to living with their mommy). TACO and siblings have all been socialized with children and taught manners by multiple adult dogs. Like all happy pups, these siblings enjoy play time. That being said, this crew is more snuggly and laid back than hyper. They are going to make great additions to any family looking for a cuddly and playful new family member.
TACO MUST go to a forever home where at least one other dog lives. He is much happier with other dogs around his little soul.
TACO will be microchipped and vaccinated as many times as age will allow before arriving to his forever home.
His $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and the cost of his transport after he is adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
We think that these precious puppies are probably a mix of boxer, lab, bulldog, and maybe a little hound. Adoptapet will only allow us to select 2 breeds. Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
