Meet Violet, a 7 month old Shepherd Saluki mix. Currently fostered in Seattle Area

Violet's vibrant yet gentle personality will make an amazing family dog. Violet's energy & love pours out of her, and makes you happy just to be around her. She loves adults and children, enjoys sleeping in her crate at night and is almost fully house trained.

Puppies, as you know, require much patience, consistency, care and attention. Violet is still in her chewing and mischievous phase so redirecting her is important and she does respond well. We have found shaking a canister of coins to redirect her attention is more effective than voice correction. Leash training is coming along nice, she loves to be groomed (except toenails), is great with the vet, strangers, and with other dogs. We are not sure about cats, but she's respectful of our bunny which is a good sign.

With consistency and commitment Violet will bring an enormous amount of love and joy to a very lucky family.
