Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Molly. She is a apx 11 years old and was brought into a vets office to be euthanized because she didn't get along with children. Most Lhasas do not get along with children. Luckily for Molly she was brought to the right vets office. There her angels jumped in to help her. The vet took amazing care of her and found cysts in her mouth causing lots of pain. She had a complete dental done with removal of the cyst and a few teeth and is doing great. She was fully vetted and given an awesome haircut. Molly's angel Michele set out to find someone to rescue or adopt this sweetie but there were some issues. Molly being a true Lhasa does not care much for young children. She also seemed to be dog reactive, plus there's her age and some medical issues. We mentioned the teeth but due to her dental disease being so bad for so long, she will probably need a soft diet forever including treats and probably toys too. She also has crystals in her urine. We will have another urine recheck in about a week to see if the prescription food is helping. In the rescue world and even in the non rescue world most people have multiple pets or kids or both. Finding someone to take a chance on Molly was difficult and we couldn't sit by and let her end up euthanized after all that Michele and her team did to save her. It just was not fair for her to die for being her breed. So we even though we have not been taking animals in, we had to help. Once we met her we knew we made the right choice. So now the search begins. We would like to find her a forever home to live out her golden years. She must be in a home with no other dogs , she seems okay with cats and does good with animal friendly kids over the age of 10. She is also wee wee pad trained.
