Princess is a great little dog. She's a Shih Tzu and is about 14 pounds and 2 years old. She was surrendered by her senior owner who had to move out of state for medical reasons.
Princess is friendly with all people and would be fine with respectful children. She'd really fit well into any type of household. She loves to cuddle and loves to play. She's great with other dogs and like to chase them around the backyard.
Princess will require regular grooming (about $40-$50 every 2-4 months).
Princess is fully vetted and spayed with a rabies vaccine, DA2PPV, H3N2 flu vaccine, and Bordatella vaccine, heartworm and fecal tests, and microchip. She is kept on monthly flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative.
Princess' adoption fee is $350. Adoption fees from young popular dogs like Princess help us help dogs with medical issues, unpopular breeds like Pitties and Chihuahuas, and senior dogs.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
