My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***UPDATE*** Sally has been living in a foster home and playing with other dogs and has had very little problems with her allergies. Allergies are the cause of all the problems. Many of us can relate to this!!! this young dog is just an absolute love, she is petite and lightweight. She would like nothing more than to just sit in your lap all day long. Sally came into rescue at 6mo of age. She was surrendered by her owner when medical expenses became more than he could afford. he obtained Sally from her breeder at 3 months of age, when they were going to euthanize her for chronic respiratory problems. She has had nasal congestion since she was a timy puppy. She has been through multiple rounds of Antibiotics, steroids, bloodwork, cultures, xrays, and cytology. She has improved for a short period of time but never has completely cleared up. Through all of this she has been a happy, playful puppy, but she cannot breath well through her nose. Recently she has gone to a specialist and a hopeful prognosis has been made. She will probably need several months more of treatment (covered of course, by rescue). The specialist found nothing to indicate a problem, so, she probably has allergies. Testing can be done for this to see what she might be allergic to and desensitisation shots given.
