Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sex: Male. Age: 7 months. Size: Medium.
Zuma is a go to the party kinda pup at just 7 months of age, is favouring a terrier mix & is 25 lbs of pure adorable. He is smart, loving, engaging, fun, responsive, energy to burn, loves his snuggles / hugs, and is loyal to his peeps.
Happy to learn, Zuma responds well to correction and very quickly too.!! His current humans are providing a very positive environment for him and he is doing amazing. Structure and a strong handler are required because he is so dang smart and confident; he will “rule the roost” as they say. He also has great recall at off-leash walks. Speaking of walks, Yup, this guy needs his walks. And by walks we really mean hikes. Couch Potatoes need not apply. While romping through the park Zuma is always friendly to other dogs, and people for the most part.
Zuma is ready to party always, and wants a family who promises to give endless belly rubs, toss lots a balls and will cuddle on the couch with him after a hard day of play. He has always done exceptionally well with other dogs and we think he would like another happy, well adjusted canine buddy. Zuma is still bouncy like a puppy, so homes with old grumpy dogs would loathe him. He would most likely drive a grumpy old guy around the bend with his “I want to play’ antics. A calm and playful fur friend would be awesome. One of the favourite parts of his day is playing fetch, tug of rope and he adores chew toys.
Crate trained and house trained Zuma is ready to meet his new family and his next adventure. He is a high-energy pup and the perfect home for Zuma would be one that can give him both physical and intellectual stimulation that he needs (remember we said this guy is smart, you have been warned !) daily walking, a calm canine buddy, structure and the attention he so craves from his humans

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
