My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chico... an adorable little 10-lb. Chihuahua who was surrendered when his former owner could no longer care for him. At 9-years young, Chico has very good house manners – he is both house and crate-trained. He does well with most other dogs, but would be just as happy keeping all your attention to himself!

When Chico first came into rescue he was overweight, but thanks to his foster parents' attention to his diet and exercise, he is now at a perfect 10-lbs. It’s important that Chico’s forever family continue his diet and exercise plan, so he can stay healthy and enjoy many happy years.

We feel that Chico will do best in a home older children, or an adult-only home.. possibly with young and active retirees who love to walk and go hiking. Even though Chico is a little guy, he really enjoys his treks.

So, if you have a little room in your heart for a mature, active, spunky, cuddly, protective, food-loving Chihuahua, make sure you check out Chico!

Chico is current on his Rabies and DHP/Parvo vaccines. He is neutered, heartworm free, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention.

Chico's adoption fee is $175.00.
