Courtesy post for one of our local shelters, where a lot of our volunteers, also volunteer! Please help Sprite get adopted this week! She has been at the county shelter a LONG time now!

Shelter staff call me SPRITE and I am a spayed female, brown and white German Shepherd Dog and Border Collie.

I am estimated to be 1 year and 4 months old.

I have been at the shelter since Feb 10, 2017.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Sprite is a super cool dog with a great German Shepherd personality. True to her breed mixes she is vocal at times, very driven, but also incredibly responsive to her handlers. She loves to live life to the MAX! However, with her level of enthusiasm, she gets herself really riled up about meeting other dogs. This means that she will need a life partner who is very knowledgeable about high-drive dogs and is devoted to providing her with continued training and lots of exercise. Sprite is affectionate and attentive and would thrive in an active family household with owners that are very confident and experienced. Must have very secure fencing, great with kids.
