Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My adoption fee is $ 300. [Angels Rescuing Animals invested over $600.00 to ensure I am healthy.] My birthday is February 01, 2015. I weigh 19 pounds.
I have traumatic amnesia. I can’t remember anything before December 2016. I remember being in rural Fresno, CA. I was attacked by something big with a crushing jaw. My right ulna and radius were fractured. I escaped and found a shed full of stuff I could hide behind. The owners heard my whimpers. They left food and water for me. It was over a month before I’d let them touch me. They took me to a vet for a vaccination and lots of antibiotics. My fractures healed. A nice lady named Emily took pictures of me and posted them on a Facebook page especially for dogs like me. Angels Rescuing Animals saw my picture and wanted me. Three days later I was on a Pilots N Paws Bonanza headed for Auburn, CA.
I’m waiting for my forever home to spot me on this website.
Meanwhile I live with humans and other dogs, Rover is my favorite. Check him out. http://www.adoptapet.com/pet/17456353-auburn-california-basenji-mix
I play with Rover and Tipton. I like snoozing next to Rover. I don’t like being crated. I have good house manners. I am so quite in a car you hardly know I'm there. I’ve met some dog-savvy cats. I ignore them. Cats are boring.
Results from Wisdom Panel DNA are in. I am 25% Chihuahua,12.5% Poodle,12.5% Lhasa Apso and 50% Terrier, Sporting and Companion groups.
I am not the kind of dog to leave in the yard while children are in school and adults are at work. A securely fenced yard of appropriate size for potty and play is required. This may be modified under certain circumstances. A home check will be done and references checked. Applicants should live within 2 hours driving time of Auburn, CA.
Email fosterfamily.dogs@gmail.com for an adoption application. Thank you.
Emails get a quicker response than phone calls as all phone calls are recorded in a voice mail box. We encourage people to email us fosterfamily.dogs@gmail.com
