Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AVAILABLE IN GEORGIA ONLY
7.5 lbs, 6 years old. Meet ZIGGY - SHE is a Japenese Chin that needs a new home asap.
Ziggy was born May 10, 2011, which makes her 6 years old. She is 7.5 lbs and a sweet little girl but is overwhelmed in her current home with 4 other dogs.
She used to play with her best friend but after her friend suddenly died, Ziggy has never been the same. She sat under a table on her friends blanket for weeks sulking and now hasn't played with toys in a year. :( The human she used to cuddle with for hours on the couch has now passed too. She is very depressed.
She is housebroken, loves to ride in the car and good on leash. When she sees new dogs she is excited to make new friends. She hates to wear clothing or get her nails done. She is a very quiet little girl and afraid of stairs.
Ziggy has never been around kids and I think they would totally overwhelm her. She needs a nice quiet home with someone to spoil her and maybe another tiny little dog for a companion. She is good with dogs and probably cats b/c she is so docile.
Ziggy has not been spayed but will be as soon as we find her a place to go. We will need to have our expensive specialist do it as Japanese Chins can have reactions to anesthesia so we need her to be closely monitored. This means we will spend $300 spaying this little baby instead of our normal cost of half that.
Her adoption fee will be $300 to cover the spay. We will cover the cost of shots, heartworm testing and whatever else she needs through donations.
