Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Isn't Tyson adorable? He's a friendly and strong dog that is about a year and a half old. He just loves people and doesn't take very long to warm up to strangers. He loves attention and seems to have a good memory of those who give him some. When a volunteer walks by, he'll smush his head into the cage to be pet. With all of his great qualities, Tyson isn't perfect. Tyson was listed for adoption on Craig's List a couple of weeks ago. Not only did his previous owner not take the time to find him a new home, he/she also didn't take the time to work with him on his negative behaviors. Tyson was adopted a week ago by a great young lady who has been able to give us more information on him. Tyson has a high prey drive and cannot be placed in a home with cats. While he gets along with other dogs, he has toy aggression and we strongly prefer him to have a home as an only pet. We also prefer he go to a home with no young children - though teenagers would be fine. His adopter told us that he doesn't like to have his collar grabbed and will snap at you. He is also not motivated to listen if you don't have a treat for him (sounds like a lot of kids I know). However, the news about Tyson isn't all bad. He is neutered, housetrained, and crate trained. He is also beginning to learn how to walk nicely on a leash without pulling. He knows paw, sit, come, stay, and down (when being bribed). Tyson was not a good match for his recent adopter, though she says, "When he is by himself, he is very good. With a strong owner, he would thrive." We know we're asking a lot on Tyson's behalf, but he really deserves a chance. He will come with low-cost ($65!!) obedience training from Susan Parker of Dynamic Dog Training in West Warwick. Please email aimless123@gmail.com if you would like to meet Tyson. -- PLEASE REFER TO LOG # 605 WHEN INQUIRING ABOUT THIS DOG.
