My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is a dream dog and will make a wonderful family pet. She came in on 10/6 and has been wiggling her way into our hearts. She's just such a pleasant dog. She's young and loves to play. Even more than playing though, she loooves people. She likes to always be close to anyone outside and has to be where the action is. She loves getting attention from volunteers and can't be pet enough. Gracie is on the smaller side, probably weighing around 40 or 45 pounds. She also, ironically, is quite clumsy. Every time she tries to jump on the picnic table outside we cringe because she always looks like she's going to fall off somehow. Gracie is quieter than most dogs, but is starting to bark when people walk by. She definitely wouldn't be considered a "barker" but the stress in the shelter is making her more desperate to get out of her cage. Just keep this in mind when you come to visit her because we promise she's absolutely wonderful. We would love for her to find her forever home soon and get her out of this terrible environment. Gracie is a friendly, playful and loving dog. She's been great with everyone and doesn't really have any bad habits yet - she's not even a jumper. Come take your kids down to meet her so she can come home with you as soon as possible.
