Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dear potential forever family,
Hi, I’m Princess Coconut… a 1.5 year old, 22-pound handiCAPABLE Goldendoodle buddy with a heart of gold. My ideal forever home will have at least one doggie so I have a brother or sis to spend my days with. I am most comfortable with other dog buddies so it’s essential my new home has a friendly chap looking for a bff. I’m still in my puppy stages and love to play with toys, chew on things, and scoot around the yard. I say scoot because I was born with severe angular bone deformity in my hind legs which means they do not stretch out. I may not be able to stand like other dogs, but I can definitely get around with the best of them and I choose not to let my differences hold me back. I am in the process of learning how to use wheels to go on walks, but for now, I really enjoy a grassy yard. I also have a stroller I adore lounging in as I soak in the sights. Everything is extremely fascinating to me and I never get bored watching people or birds, or really anything. I am afraid of loud noises and my person will need to be sensitive to helping me learn to trust. A fenced yard is a must-have as it will be easiest for my potty breaks and will help me feel safe. Oh, and if you’re wondering… I am fully continent and potty trained. When I first came to my foster home, I was too timid to be pet or to be next to a human for even short periods, but my foster siblings have helped teach me to trust and now I really enjoy affection from a human. It will take me a bit to fully trust my forever parent, but if they are patient and kind, and have a dog buddy for me to confide in, then I’ll be one happy girl!
