My story

Meet Violet! Violet is an 18 month old Aussie mix whose owner no longer had time for her so was surrendering her to one of GA's worst high-kill shelters. With her medium length coat, her agility, and her light freckles, she is a fun and enthusiastic pup who loves her people but also enjoys her canine companions too.
Violet looks like a shepherd or even a husky, but she is so delicate and weighing in at only 37 lbs fully grown, we felt it was safe to classify her as a type of herding pup.
This beautiful little lady has adjusted so well to being in a home and has really done well with her pack of 4! Cats are an unknown. She has learned her basic commands and is a perfect little lady in the house and has had only the occasional accident. We feel she is gentle enough for kids over 3 as she has met several and behaved so gently with them.
Violet is ready for her new family--she cannot wait to meet them!

All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted.
