Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DEL is a six-year-old brown and black male cat. We received a call from another shelter requesting medical surrender to us. Del had been brought there, but the individual that found him was unable to provide any financial or physical care. Del was literally starving to death, we suspect he may have been locked in somewhere and unable to access any food. He weighed less than four pounds, and you could see every bone of his body. Del was so sick he looked ancient. His foster moms jumped in, and with an appetite stimulant, fluids, and hand feeding this boy started the road back to health. He’s already gained over four pounds, is flourishing, and both his inner and outer beauty shines with each passing day. At his foster home Del loves to curl up in bed with his foster mom and a feline companion. While foster mom worked, Del loved being put in his playpen, where he could be close by and feel safe. Del has the cutest way about him, he puts out his paws so you’ll give him attention or pick him up! He’s a love bug of love bugs, and loves both human and feline companionship. Del’s very easy going and easy to please…keep him close and he is at his most content!
At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.
