My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper was shot with a bb gun and dumped in the woods in Clewiston. She was brought in to animal control where we took her into rescue. She has been great with our indoor kitties, loves other small dogs, and my dogs. Has barked at a few strange dogs. Seems to love almost everyone she meets. She is a lap dog that loves attention. She walks well on a leash, rides well in the car.

She does chase squirrels and lizards. I would recommend crating her when you're not home. I have not had any problems with her, but another foster said she was a bit of an escape artist for the first two days. She is only about 1 1/2 years old and weight 12 1/2 pounds. Pepper is full grown. She is still thin but should remain around 15 pounds when all weight is back on.
