My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Newton is an approximately 7 year old, 62 pound, male, shepherd mix (our best guess is mixed with hound). He is good with dogs, people, and is housebroken. He is being fostered in Chicago. His foster mom works 8 hours a day and he has proven himself to be non-destructive when left alone. Newton loves to go on walks, play fetch, ride in the car with his head out the window, and his favorite thing to do is to rip his soft toys into a million pieces. Newton has some weakness in his back legs, which also means he has a very cool walk, that our vet believes to be a neurological issue. He does not have any problem getting around though or going up and down stairs. He occasionally needs a slight boost getting into a car or on the couch. Newton is a great companion and will be a nice addition to just about any family. He also has a very distinctive black and pink patterned tongue!
