Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This girl was saved by us from a pound where she was due to have pups any day. On Christmas eve Journey Mae gave birth to 12 puppies. This is where the story turns sad. 3 days after her giving birth the puppies started dying off and we had no clue why. At that age they were to young to worm. We talked to a couple of different vets and one told us it would not hurt to worm them as you are losing them anyway. We did worm them and managed to save 3 of the 12 puppies. It was crushing to poor Journey Mae who is just a pup herself having puppies. We did some research and think it was down to e coli. When the AKC breeders get close to having puppies they test the mum before hand to check for this as you can treat mum before she gives birth. This is the first time we have every had this happen to us. It was crushing for mum and us at the same time to feel helpless. Journey Mae was a great mum and the 3 puppies that survived have found their forever homes and doing wonderful. Now it is time for this pretty girl to find her home. She is about a year old and 45lbs. It is so hard to know what breed she is as we think she is a mix of several. We see pointer/heeler/American bulldog and who knows what else. She is whatever you want her to be and has a wonderful personality to go with it. She is perfect for a family or single person. She is great with all dogs and cats. She is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heartworm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention.
