My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Chewie came to us from an owner who just didn't seem to have time to care for her. She was found out in the road several times, so she needs someone who will take her into their home and love her like she deserves. This little love bug came to us heartworm positive, but has made it through her treatment, and is doing well!! She is active and wants to be your center of attention. She would be very happy to have a fenced yard to run and play, as she likes to be outside. A doggie door would be the ultimate in cool for her. We are fairly certain she would love her very own human siblings so she could play and be loved on 24/7.

Volulnteer review: I have met Chewie and she is just the sweetest thing. She is shorter than she looks in the photo and has a little longer body than one would expect - maybe could be explained as a beagle/doxie mix look. She LOVES attention. She is very active (which is why the photos look like they do - she doesn't stand still much!) This girl needs someone to give her lots of lovin' and she will make a great companion! She made it through her heartworm treatment with flying colors, and has LOTS of good years left to be someone's best friend!!
