My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nellie! She is a senior (maybe 10-11 yr old) female chihuahua who weighs about 5.5 lbs. She is a spunky gal who gets along with other dogs, but she has a pretty in-your-face approach with other dogs, so she would do best with a non-reactive dog who will tolerate her socialization style. She is doing great with crate training and if taken outside immediately she has been doing good about going outside. She will need someone who will be patient with her as she perfects her bathroom skills. Nellie isn't a huge fan of getting picked up, but she does like to lay with you on the couch and give you kisses. She is missing most of her teeth, as they were in poor condition and infected when we got her. Nellie is also on thyroid medication to treat low thyroid. Nellie's adoption donation of $150 helps cover the cost of her vetting and care.
