Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.
Mia was saved from the streets of Puerto Rico and taken to South Florida for treatment. While at the rescue facility in South Florida she was diagnosed with two tick borne diseases that she needed to be treated for. Mia also needed to be spayed, have a dental, and she needed to have a couple of small mammary masses removed. When the rescue group she was with completed all the necessary treatment, along with her vaccinations and heartworm testing, she was turned over to United Yorkie Rescue. They knew that UYR would find her the best home for her needs because Yorkies are what we do.
Mia only arrived at her foster home today so there is a lot to know about her. Her foster mom said she is very sweet. She seems to be potty pad trained. She is getting along with the other pups in the home and has already given her foster mom kisses. Mia will see the vet very soon for a well doggie check. We will know more very soon about this cute girl.
