Spike is the name, play is my game! My family felt that they could no longer provide me with the life I deserved so they contacted Power of the Paw. POTP took me in and I’m waiting on my new furever family. Let me tell you a bit about myself, as I mentioned earlier I Love to play! I will play with toys, balls, people animals and I’ve even been known to play all by myself from time to time. I'm a very well behaved boy who makes life fun and minds my manners. I love going for walks, it's fun getting out seeing new thing and smelling new smells. Sometimes my foster mom has to tell me "Easy" because I get excited and can pull on the leash, it reminds me that I’m not supposed to do that. I really love to cuddle, when I’m not paying cuddling is my favorite pass time. Going for car rides are great too, if you crack the window a little so I can feel the wind on my fur, there’s no better feeling unless it’s a good scratch behind the ear.
At my foster place I have a friend named Kricket, she's a smaller lab mix, we love to romp. I get along with dogs and can sometimes play a bit rough but and am smart enough to understand when I've pushed too much. Kids are my friends, they are great, I had a kid at my last house and we would play and run. My foster home has cats, they look like a toy and would really like to chase them, foster mom says my new home probably shouldn’t have them unless they are dog savvy, whatever that means. I'm a very clean boy, I haven't had an accident EVER! I do well riding in cars too.
All in all I'm a very good boy and if you ask me any family would be lucky to adopt me! People think I'm sweet and if you don’t trust them then trust me, I am. I would Love a family with a playmate, be it a dog or a human. I have a lot of love to give, I'm truly a special boy, ask my foster mom!!!
