Hello beautiful people!!!! My name is Garçon, but it is pronounced Garsone. I have a very distinct french name as I am a very distinct boy (boy is the meaning of Garçon). I am a healthy and happy 6 yrs old sweetheart. I am on the smaller side for a Basset Hound, at approximately 45 pounds. My size and characteristics could even classify me as a Basset Artesien Normand, but since I am not in France, I am just known as a Basset Hound. I have a beautiful shiny coat, I am very smart, I get along great with my foster dogs, I love to play at the dog parks, have no aggressive issues and am just a big love bug. I am very shy when I first meet people, but with some patience, I become a snugly love. I love to go for walks and I walk great on a leash, as well as riding in the car. One of my favorite things is to great you at the door with my favorite toy...my foster mom and dad think it's so CUTE!!! I am looking for a home with at least one other dog that I can pal around with. I use to live with my sister before I came to Basset Rescue and it was really hard on me when we were separated. I get very attached to my family and I hope that my next family will be my furever family. With a little patients and love, I will show you how loving and loyal I can be in return.
