My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoe is a 9 year old spayed female. She is UTD on shots and her new owners will be required to chip her within one month of adoption. She gets along well with everything! Cats, dogs, kids and everyone she meets! She is 48lbs. A perky and sweet girl who has many more years to give so please do not let her age deter you from bringing her into your home. Zoe is super sweet and curious. She is energetic but not a super hyper type poodle. She loves to exercise but is mature enough to be calm when inside. She is super smart. She gets along and loves other animals. She has never had any health issues but one of her eyes is bit cloudy. She sees just fine and has a vet visit to follow up next week. She knows her sit, stay, shake commands – just simple ones but she is smart and could be taught lots of stuff if the new owner was interested. Loves the dog park! No abuse, bite or aggression history. No separation anxiety issues that we have noticed or are aware of. She truly has a great temperament! Would prefer a fenced yard to run around in. She would be great with a single person who wants an exercise buddy or a family. She loves kids and pretty much anyone giving her attention. She would also probably like to live with another animal for day time companionship but she does not currently, so doesn’t need it. Was previously crate trained but has not used one in some time. However, she could probably be trained again if necessary. She is determined yet very compliant. She currently remain loose in the home when her people are at work and sleeps freely on her dog bed at night. She was placed in rescue due to a divorce, work schedule changes and family health problems with her humans. Application and home visit required. Adoption fee is $200.
