Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Wendy! She is a Yorkie/Poodle mix, and she is rouhly eleven years young. It's so crazy to me to think of Wendy's short journey with us at Saving GRACE; to where she was when we first got her, to where she is now... What's even more amazing to me is that she should be ready to go to her furever family when they perfect one comes along! Wendy came to us extremely matted with crazy, long toenails, and covered in fleas. She also had what appearing to be a grapefruit sized tumor on her abdomen. Within 24 hours of being with Saving GRACE Wendy had gotten a full groom job and went to our vet where she had surgery to spay her, have a dental, and her tumor removed (her tumor ended up being the largest abdominal hernia our vet had ever seen)! It was a whirlwind of a week for our sweet Wendy, needless to say! She is feeling better than she likely ever has in her entire life now and is ready to be some lucky family’s spoiled rotten baby!
Here's Wendy's and I's wish list for her new home; a family that is home a good amount with lots of time for lap snuggles and love, no wild rambunctious creatures in the house who will bother her (she's become quite the diva in a short time).... and really that's about it. She would be the perfect dog for a retired couple with lots of love to give! Wendy is the biggest snuggle bug in all the land and she demands to be pet as much as possible, if you stop petting her and she is not ready for you to be done she looks straight into your eyes, with her little tongue hanging to the side, and paws at you until you continue!
Wendy is fully vetted and healthy now, she has a lot of life left in her and happy years ahead to spend with her new family! Her adoption fee is $150.
