Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joy is a one year old terrier mix who weighs 27 pounds. She is very shy and needs a very patient owner who is willing to work with her on her socialization. She will do best around kids 12 and up. Likely as a pup she did not have a lot of human interaction so people can be pretty scary at times. Joy needs a fenced in yard and will be required to have two leashes on her, including a slip lead, at any time while not in the house. She does well with other dogs. She needs a quiet home with no ltitle kids. She is puppy pad trained.

Last Hope, Inc. is an all volunteer, foster based, no kill rescue! You can see almost all of our dogs on Saturdays from 11-3 at the following locations: Apple Valley Petco on 42 & Cedar and at the Burnsville Petco on 42 and Aldrich.
Policies: You do not have to have a fence to adopt a dog from us, but some dogs will require a fence or acres to play. Also, Since preschoolers are more likely to be bit, we do not place dogs in homes where children under the age of 4 are present.
The Adoption Fee is not enough to cover the vet bills. Sales tax of almost 7.25% is also included in the adoption fee that you see. Please consider donating to Last Hope to help us save these animals!
