http://www.ruffluckdogrescue.com/ Muffin is a purebred, female Shih Tzu approximately 6 or 7 years old. Muffin was rescued from a shelter where she was scheduled for euthanasia when she was very young. From there she was loved dearly by her elderly companion. She was his loyal friend that never left his side. She even slept in bed with him. Sadly, she lost her home when her owner became suddenly and terminally ill. Once again poor Muffin finds herself alone... The ideal home for Muffin would be with a retired person or couple that is home all or most of the time because that is what she is used to. Muffin bonds closely to her owner and, while she can be friendly and tolerate other dogs, she likes to have the spotlight. She would be happiest in a home where she was the only dog. Like many Shih Tzus, Muffin is prone to skin allergies. She will need a home that can be disciplined with table scraps and will keep up with regular grooming. With that, her allergies can be well controlled. Muffin loves to take car rides( as many rides as possible), she loves walks, squeaky toys and best of all, BELLY RUBS! Muffin will crawl in bed with you at night and into your heart after she gets a few days to adjust. She is well housebroken once she adjusts to her environment. She is fostering near Kenosha.
