Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The following is a courtesy listing on behalf of Lucy's current owner.
Lucy is not (nor was she ever) part of our rescue, but should someone decide they can offer her a foster home, we can back her. Visit our website to read more about our foster program and to complete a foster application:
www.twodogfarms.com/foster
If you are interested to adopt Lucy directly, please contact her owner, details at the end of this listing.
(Notes supplied by Lucy's owner - we have not evaluated her ourselves):
"My heart is heavy as I write this post, but I know that I am doing the best thing for Lu.
I adopted Lucy in 2009 from a shelter in South Korea. We spent 2 years campaigning against the dog meat trade and then moved to DC, where we spent the last 5 years.
I moved to SF two months ago and my friend has been kind enough to watch Lucy for me in NC as I made this huge transition in my life.
I started a new job and I live in a small apartment. Lucy hates being kept inside and has terrible separation anxiety when left alone. She will lose it if I fly her across the country and leave her home alone for 45 + hours a week while I'm at work. I will also be traveling a fair amount for my new job.
Lu is happiest when she is outside searching for squirrels and running in the woods--or as a constant companion to her owner. She loves being with people and has anxiety when left alone.
She's a typical Jindo in the sense that she's very independent, has a high prey drive, doesn't bark, and mostly keeps to herself.
Lu needs a home with a yard so that she can be left outside when the owner isn't home. Alternatively, she needs to live with someone who works from home and spends most of their time at home.
Can anyone please help? I can bring her anywhere in the country. All I want is for Lu to have a good home and live a great life.
Lucy is the love of my life and the thought of losing her is beyond painful. This is the hardest decision I've ever made. But I'm afraid that I can no longer give Lu the attention that she needs.
Please email me: rosalynmorrison@gmail.com or text/call me (843) 425-4212 if interested or know anyone that might be interested."
