Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shelley comes to us as an owner surrender because the landlord threatened to evict her previous owner if she didn't get rid of her. This cutie is 2 years old, weighs 40 pounds, and is very nosey, curious, social, friendly, active, playful, smart and affectionate. She is very quiet unless she needs to bark.
She can be jealous of other dogs. She likes cats but rushes up on them. She also gets along with children.
Shelley is not a big eater, and will eat her food on and off throughout the day. She may need encouragement with eating.
Shelley can be destructive and has been known to eat/swallow random things like toys, etc. She should NEVER be left alone with them, because she would be at risk for swallowing something and then getting an obstruction, which can lead to expensive surgery.
She knows basic commands like SIT and is very treat motivated. She loves going on car rides, playing fetch with tennis balls and any toy with a squeaker, chasing the windshield wipers (can be dangerous when driving), attacking the wind going 50mph down the highway, going to the park, running, being sprayed with water, and just generally being active.
She does not like being ignored (will shove toys in peoples face), skateboards/bikes, rodents/small animals, cold weather, and other people fighting. She is afraid when people yell and scream.
She is known to jump fences, sqeeze out of tight spots if she can fit and dig. She should NEVER be left alone in the backyard because she would be at high risk for getting out.
Shelley is your typical young bullie... she is full of energy and if she doesn't get it out one way, she will another. She is a toddler in a little 40lb dog suit. She can hear you, just doesnt care... a little hard-headed and stubborn when she wants to be.
She is spayed, up to date on her shots and heartworm negative. She is also housebroken and crate trained. She sometimes has pee accidents when she is nervous (submissive peeing).
