Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET DUKE !!
Duke is a pure bred German Shepherd. He is very sweet, quiet, loving, affectionate and playful. He loves all types of toys to fetch. His favorite are the big Jolly Balls with the handle or rope on them. We have taught him to release them so we can throw it again and with a bit more time you can get him to drop it. Duke does well with all dogs big and small. He's best with females and non-aggressive males. He is a nice size Shepherd with no health issues. He looks like he could work for the police department tomorrow. He's very beautiful and proud. He is sensitive and takes direction very well. Duke is about 6 to 7 years old, neutered, up to date on all vaccines including rabies, microchipped, crate trained and housebroken. Duke is now ready for his new forever home and forever family.
And would make an excellent addition to any pack or be very happy as an only dog.
He is a big baby.
You must have prior Shepherd or large breed experience to adopt Duke.
Please inquire via email and include a little bit about your house, yard, fence, property, lifestyle and activity level.
Include your prior dog experience, previous pets, all current pets in the house and or children and their ages.
Home check required.
Dogs need stability and consistency so we require all this info when placing a large breed dog because we want his next home to be his forever home. He was already failed by his first family. We do as much as possible to avoid that happening again. We have put a lot of time, love and energy into Duke and he is a very sweet, appreciative and trainable dog.
Adoption fee applies
Thank you for choosing to adopt.
Please do NOT e-mail us your phone number, you will NOT be called. Questions and inquires are answered via e-mail only.
Please read everything below, most of your questions may be answered in our description.
All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, dewormed, licensed, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Also included is a free health check by our licensed veterinarian. The dogs that come out of our program are very well socialized when they leave, both with people, and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. All of our dogs, young and old are crate trained. This gives the new owner a head start for house breaking, and to curb any separation anxiety and or destructive behavior. Most of our dogs are in foster homes and we are able to tell you lots about each of their personalities. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, and contract are required. Please direct all questions to smashfacerescue911@yahoo. All our dogs can be seen 7 days a week by appointment ONLY. We are located in Van Nuys 91405. If you are interested in setting up a day and time please send us an e-mail.
Thank you in advance,
