My story

Klaus has a kinda funny name, but he is a great cat. Everything you always wanted in a cat - petite, friendly, playful, sweet, affectionate and good with kids. He is even kid tested and approved. He currently lives with a two year old toddler in his foster home, and she loves him, and he loves her.

Tyson's Place Animal Rescue's mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding homes for their pets. Klaus came to us after his owner went into a nursing home. He was left behind in the condo, and the remaining family had cat allergies, so they could only briefly interact with him to give him food and water. For a cat that loves people, this situation made him lonely and sad. Thankfully, we were able to take him into our rescue, and he blossomed in his foster home.

His previous family described this sweet 8 year old boy as a couch potato who enjoys being groomed, being picked up, being petted, and sitting in laps. He loves playing with soft toys.

Not only is he an all around great cat, he has had all of his medical needs addressed by the rescue. He had a dental cleaning, vaccinations, blood work, urinalysis, and microchip. Hundreds of dollars of vet care, available to you for just a $40 adoption fee. Eight years old is so young still - he has at least a decade of life left.
