Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! I'm Libby. I was rescued from an industrial chemical site where I'd been living in the dirt underneath semi-tractor trailers in an industrial area where I was abandoned. There's no homes nearby and mom asked all the warehouses when she found me within a few blocks if anyone owned me and all said no, I'd been on the street for some time. The night watchman was nice to me and fed me occasionally but usually I'd have to make the rounds of the warehouses looking for handouts. Most of the time I got leftover bread from workers' lunches thrown to me and that was all. Still, I remained happy girl with a sunny outlook on life. I'm very pretty with my 'feathers' as mom calls them, sweet and SMART, too. (Mom thinks I'd be a great candidate for agility training!) I'm medium size at 45 lbs., love playing with Mom's other foster dogs (tug of war; wrestling; and chasing each other); scanning the treetops for squirrels (I get so excited by them) and gnawing on big smoked knuckle bones! I am looking for that special someone or family who thinks I'm special and will keep me safe, healthy, happy and loved for the rest of my life. Do I sound like the girl for you?
