Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are calling her Polly. She's an approx. 1+ Year old Shih Tzu mix that was found in Lumberton today, 2/23/17. We've tried desperately to locate possible owners, but have come up empty. RCHS's policy for reclaims requires photo ID and veterinary proof documenting ownership. We also have a $50 reclaim fee that covers the cost to vaccinate a stray rescue with state required vaccines, as well as the cost to give the care, food and love the furbaby receives while residing comfortably at our facility. Please contact us at 910-738-8282 if you have any information on the owner. She weighs approx. 5.5 pounds, is up to date on all vaccinations, de-wormed, and will be spayed before adoption. She is very sweet, but extremely timid and shy. RCHS is reccommending she be placed in a quite home, preferably with no kids or other pets. We would bet she would love a fur-ever home and make anyone a great companion. Her adoption fee is $200. Her ID is DF1702014. An application is available by clicking on the following link http://www.robesonhumanesociety.org/images/Adoption_Application_2015.doc You can email it back to us at rchsfriendsforlife@gmail.com, or fax it to 910-738-8685. All animals at RCHS are up to date on vaccinations, tested for Felv/Fiv, heart worm and treated if positive, de-wormed and spayed or neutered if over the age of 6 months. If they are younger than 6 months, the adopter receives a voucher that is good at any vet and covers a portion of the procedure. For more info on how to adopt, please email us at rchsfriendsforlife@gmail.com or call the shelter at 910-738-8282. Robeson county Humane Society is a non-profit no-kill State recognized 501c3 that operates primarily from donations, fundraisers and volunteers, with minimal Government support.
