My story

ROCCO (TENNESSEE)
Rocco is an adorable 9 year old, 11 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Murfreesboro, TN.
Rocco has been in his foster home a couple of months and his foster family says you will NEVER find a sweeter dog ANYWHERE! His skin issues have cleared up to reveal a beautiful blond coat. He has great house manners and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children and adults. He is super loving and gets very attached to his humans. He gets very excited and spins in a circle when he wants a treat or meal time is at hand. Rocco is house-trained and if taken out regularly he rarely has a “mistake.” Rocco dislikes being left alone so a home where he will have lots of attention and company is a must. He'd love a fur-sibling to be “Besties” with. He also loves to cuddle and sleep with his person. He's very active and loves to go for walks.
Rocco had an illness this past weekend where he had an upset stomach and some GI issues. He needed emergency care had some IV fluids and medication and is feeling much better now but X-rays showed that his liver is slightly enlarged. We will be watching closely to make sure Rocco is healthy and fully recovered so his tests will be repeated in a couple of weeks.
