My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PJ is fostered in Vista California, through United Yorkie Rescue. http://unitedyorkierescue.org
PJ is a 10 year old, 8 lb. sweet boy, and makes up 1/2 of a bonded Yorkie pair. Diego, his buddy, is a 10 year old, 11 lb. little bundle of joy, a sweet boy. Diego and PJ have the best personalities and love to give kisses. Diego loves to bounce around and play with his buddy and is looking forward to finding a place to call home.
PJ is at the perfect weight for his frame, but he has a little hair loss and the vet expects that to come back with the medication he is on for his hyperthyroid. PJ has one tooth, but he's able to eat his kibble just fine (soaked before he eats to soften it), and his treats have to be of the softer variety. High quality food will be important.
PJ was diagnosed with hypothyroidism by the vet, he's started medication which will need to be regulated, and may be a life commitment. His buddy Diego also has hypothyroidism, but affects him differently. PJ and Diego are on the same medication in a different dose, which makes it easy to manage.
PJ and Diego are truly bonded and give each other kisses all the time (which it just too cute and neither of them have very many teeth). You would never know their age by their behavior; they play with each other and run around with their other foster brother.
Diego (and PJ) are the cutest little loves, and we hope they find a warm loving home they can settle into very soon.
