My story

TOBY (TENNESSEE)
Toby is a 4 year old 10.4 pound Yorkie fellow being fostered near Nashville TN.
Toby is a handsome, sweet and loving boy who just wants to be with his human at all times. Toby is housetrained and walks well on a leash. He rides ok in a car, but only next to his human. He gets anxious if he can't feel his person. Toby came into rescue with severe ear infections and skin issues. He was successfully treated for both and is now a happy, healthy dog. Toby is up to date on all his shots, microchipped and has had a dental. He had to have four teeth pulled in the front and we think it just adds to his charm! Toby does have advanced cataracts and has seen an eye specialist on the 24th of March. His cataracts are probably hereditary. Since Toby is only four years old, United Yorkie Rescue wanted to see if Toby would be a candidate for cataract surgery. We have an upcoming appointment with the eye specialist again to do an ultrasound of the eyes to see if one or both of the eyes may be eligible for the surgery. In the meantime Toby receives eye drops twice daily. If you can help us cover the cost of Toby’s care to date we would be very grateful.
