Why Lou was left at the shelter is a mystery, but we know he wasn’t stray very long. You see Lou has a few pounds to loose. That aside, he loves to go on walks and does great on the leash. With a bit if exercise and good diet control, we’d expect the chubby to disappear in no time. Between walks, Lou would love to sit on the couch and have you rub his belly and work with him on his social skills. Right now, he prefers smaller dogs for company, and doesn’t care for cats of children. A basic obedience class would help Lou with his manners around others. Crate trained, house-trained, does great in the car, and is ready to be your buddy for life.

With foster mom, Lou has found out how much fun hiking in snow can be. One of his favorite activities is making snow-dog angels. With that thick coat, he could roll around all day.  He took a bit to warm up to the man of the house, but now finds that lap is the place to be!
