Max is such a doll. He has lots of life and love left in him. Max is a total lap dog, and loves to lay like a baby in your arms while you pet his belly and he gazes into your eyes, magic.
Max is about 10 pounds and 13-years-old. He was dumped at a busy open intake shelter on Christmas Eve.
Max loves walks, poking around outside, people food (haha), and all humans. He's a special one who has a special place in our hearts.
Max is fully vetted and neutered with a dental, a rabies vaccine, DA2PPV, H3N2 flu vaccine, and Bordatella vaccine, heartworm and fecal tests, and is microchipped. He is kept on monthly flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative.
Max's adoption fee is $150.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
